  1. Wonderful! Your roses are marvelous and the lily of the valley reminds me of my mom's, in our old back yard.

  5. And how many years did it take to accumulate those lovely reasons?

  6. WOW! Sumptuous. You are a true friend of the earth to be able to coax such beauty to erupt.

  7. Beautiful, Wayne. You make me a bit envious of your "green thumb" and give me smile at the end with the lady bug enjoying a stroll on yellow whatever......

  8. All--- the garden looks much better close up than from a distance. There are two herbs in the photo. It will be our 6th summer... the roses were here, all else came by way of me. and yes, Jim, it is a yellow something as the name is lost on me at this point in time and I am not going to dig through the pile of plant labels I have somewhere. and I apologize to the plants that had already bloomed this spring.

  9. Oh... My! Look at all of those gorgeous flowers--I can't believe how far ahead of us you are already. My lavender isn't nearly close to blooming yet.

And is that THYME above the penstemon photo? It looks almost too exotic and showy to be such a common herb, but that's all that I could think of. (It seems too short and compact to be a pineleaf penstemon...)
