I had hoped to create more bird art this year, and it may or may not happen, but this very special commission helped. A hummingbird commission is hovering and tomorrow I begin on a long desired project to create a mosaic inspired by the beauty of Great Blue Herons.

And didn't Margaret do an amazing job creating the feather. I just created the space for which she could place it.
